CAMP GOALS

The Wildcat swim camps goal is to help build a solid swimming foundation for each swimmer that attends camp. We will break down each stroke with video analysis and then work with drills and technique in our pool sessions. Each swimmer will be videotaped and have their strokes analyzed by the coaches on staff. There will be a small camper to coach ratio of 10 campers to 1 coach providing individualized attention.

FACILITIES

The Dellora A. and Lester J. Norris Aquatics Center includes a 750,000-gallon, 50-meter-by-25-yard pool with movable walls that run on a track system, enabling the pool to be custom-fitted. The complex, which includes an innovative heat recycling system, also features an electronic scoreboard and seating for 800 spectators.

ROOMMATES

If you would like to request a roommate for camp, please indicate that name on the application. To ensure placement with the roommate indicated, roommates must both request each other. Please note that we will do our best to accommodate all requests, however it will depend on the layout of the dorm we are assigned (suites vs traditional double rooms). We will not know our dorm assignment until camp registration has ended. While we do our best to honor requests for placement in terms of teams/groups, these are considered on a secondary basis to specific roommate requests. Please also note, roommate assignments are created well in advance of the first day of camp. Changes cannot be made at check-in. If a roommate is not requested, we will make every effort to assign a roommate of approximately the same age/grade.
